This policy explains how SynaptxCloud (“we”, “us”) handles your information when you use synaptxcloud.com (the “Site”). For personal data collected here, SynaptxCloud is the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). The short version: the only personal data you give us on this Site is what you type into the contact form, and we use it solely to reply to you.
Information we collect
- Contact form details. When you send an enquiry, we receive the name, organisation, work email and message you enter, plus your scheduling preference if you set one.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used — pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type. This is aggregate usage data, collected via cookies.
- Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure records standard request logs — IP address, URL, timestamp, user agent — used for security and operations.
The Site has no user accounts, and we do not collect any special categories of personal data.
Purpose and consent
We process this information to:
- respond to your enquiry and follow up on it;
- keep the Site secure and prevent abuse;
- understand which content is useful and improve it.
Contact form details are processed on the basis of the consent you give by submitting the form for that purpose. You may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing support@synaptxcloud.com — withdrawing is as simple as giving it, and we will stop the processing and delete your enquiry unless the law requires us to keep it. We do not sell your data, and we will not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Where your data goes
Contact form submissions are delivered straight to our support inbox by email; our service providers process the message only to the extent needed to deliver it. Analytics data is processed by Google under its own privacy terms. Beyond that, we share your information only if the law requires it. Your information may be stored or processed on infrastructure outside India, as permitted under applicable law.
Retention
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the conversation and ordinary business records require, after which they are deleted. If you would like an enquiry deleted sooner, email us and we will remove it.
Cookies
The Site sets Google Analytics cookies to measure usage. Google explains how it handles this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s official opt-out browser add-on. Blocking or deleting cookies does not affect any functionality of the Site — they are used for measurement only.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, contact form submissions travel encrypted, and access to the inbox where enquiries land is restricted. We follow reasonable security practices appropriate to the small amount of personal data this Site handles. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we keep the surface area deliberately small.
Your rights
If you are in India, the DPDP Act gives you the following rights over personal data processed with your consent:
- Access — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it has been processed;
- Correction and erasure — ask us to correct inaccurate details or delete your data;
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw your consent at any time, as described above;
- Nomination — nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity;
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
If you are outside India, you may have equivalent rights under your local law (for example access, rectification, erasure and objection under the EU/UK GDPR). We honour these requests the same way — email us and we will act on it.
Grievance redressal
To exercise any of these rights or raise a concern about how your data has been handled, email support@synaptxcloud.com with the email address you used on the Site so we can locate your data. This inbox is our designated point of contact for data questions. We aim to respond promptly, and in any case within the timelines prescribed under applicable law (currently 90 days under the DPDP Rules).
Children
The Site is aimed at professionals in government and enterprise and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and we do not use any data from this Site for tracking or targeted advertising directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be called out on the Site.
